Bone Marrow Concentrate (Stem Cell Biology)
Advanced autologous cell therapy delivering live progenitor cells and growth factors to support repair of severe cartilage, joint, and disc degeneration.
Bone Marrow Concentrate (BMC) provides live progenitor cells, platelets, and growth factors harvested from your own bone marrow. For severe cartilage breakdown, bone marrow lesions, and complex disc tears, BMC may offer a more robust biologic option than PRP alone — when appropriate and based on your evaluation.
Pain Persists for a Reason.
Let's Find What's Driving Yours.
When joint or disc degeneration is advanced, the problem often isn't just inflammation — it's structural tissue damage that the body is struggling to repair on its own. Bone Marrow Concentrate is one of the more powerful tools available to support that deeper repair process.
Reveal → Repair → Restore → Renew
Bone Marrow Concentrate (Stem Cell Biology) is one tool within our four-stage pathway — selected based on your evaluation, not applied uniformly.
Reveal
We determine whether structural damage — cartilage loss, bone marrow lesions, complex tears — is driving your pain, and whether your condition is appropriate for a higher-dose biologic approach.
Repair
If BMC is appropriate, progenitor cells and growth factors from your own bone marrow are precisely delivered to the damaged tissue under image guidance.
Restore
A structured rehabilitation and activity progression helps the treated area regain stability, strength, and function as tissue repair progresses.
Renew
The goal is helping you return to the activities and independence that advanced degeneration may have taken away — with a plan built around your findings.
How Bone Marrow Concentrate Works
BMC begins with a bone marrow aspiration — a small sample of marrow is drawn from the back of the hip (iliac crest) under local numbing. The procedure is performed in-office and typically takes about 20–30 minutes.
The marrow sample is processed in a specialized centrifuge to concentrate the progenitor cells, platelets, and growth factors into a therapeutic injectate — significantly more robust than PRP alone.
The concentrate is then precisely injected into the damaged joint, disc, or tissue using real-time fluoroscopic or ultrasound guidance, ensuring accurate placement at the injury site.
Marrow Aspiration
A small marrow sample is drawn from the hip under local numbing — in-office, ~20 minutes.
Lab Processing
The sample is centrifuged to concentrate progenitor cells, platelets, and growth factors.
Image-Guided Injection
The concentrate is precisely delivered to the damaged tissue under real-time imaging.
Guided Recovery
A structured rehab and activity progression supports tissue repair and restored function.
Conditions This Treatment May Support
Based on your individualized evaluation, bone marrow concentrate (stem cell biology) may be appropriate for the following:
Why Patients Choose This Treatment
How Our Approach Differs
Standard Approach
- Pain medication and cortisone for symptom management
- Wait until degeneration is severe enough for surgery
- Joint replacement as the eventual endpoint
- No attempt to support tissue repair
Our BMC Approach
- Delivers live progenitor cells to support structural repair
- May intervene before end-stage degeneration
- One tool within a full diagnostic and restorative pathway
- Individualized based on imaging findings and your goals
Who May Benefit Most
These are examples of patients who may be appropriate candidates. Your individualized evaluation determines whether bone marrow concentrate (stem cell biology) is the right tool for your condition.
We don't just focus on reducing pain.
We help people work toward returning to the lives pain has taken them away from.
"I want my independence back — without surgery being the only option."
