How TenJet Works
Under real-time ultrasound guidance, a specialized TenJet probe is advanced into the diseased portion of the tendon. The probe delivers a supersonic stream of saline that selectively hydro-resects (cuts away) the damaged tissue.
Healthy tendon fibers are preserved because the saline stream is calibrated to remove only the degenerated, disorganized tissue — the tissue that is blocking recovery.
The procedure takes about 15 minutes, is performed in-office under local numbing, and requires only a small entry point — no incisions, no stitches.
